Dr. Gary Chinga Carrasco is a Senior Research Scientist at the Paper and Fibre Research Institute, Trondheim, Norway, working as the Lead Scientist in Biocomposites and project manager of the NanoHeal project. His expertise includes the chemical and biological characterization of biomaterials, and his current work involves the production and application of ultrapure nanocellulose as an advanced biomaterial. He has worked at the Paper and Fibre Research Institute since 2004, and was an invited professor at the Universidad de La Frontera, Chile.
