Dr. Murray McLaughlin serves as the Executive Director of the Bioindustrial Innovation Centre in Sarnia, Ontario. He is also the president and CEO of Sustainable Chemical Alliance in Sarnia. He earned both his Ph.D and M.Sc. in Agriculture from Cornell University, New York. He also holds a B.Sc in Agriculture from McGill University, and a Diploma from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. His work focuses on the startup, investment and commercialization of green and sustainable technologies. He has a long history of work in the development of the agricultural business sector, having previously worked as the president and CEO of Foragen Technologies Management Inc. (Guelph, Ontario) and as the Director of Business Development at Canadian Light Source Inc. (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan).
