Thomas Pitzi | BASF Corporation | USA
Thomas Pitzi is the North American Sales Manager for biopolymers at BASF. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. He has worked in the plastics industry for over 25 years in a variety of different roles including production, technical service, application development, global business development, sales, and market development. He has work for several major polymer manufacturers including DSM, Arkema, and Metabolix. He joined BASF in 2011 after having spent 4 year developing biopolymers and biopolymer applications at Metabolix. Today he heads the technical development and support for biopolymers at BASF in North America.
